This company started out of necessity to continue doing something after the collapse of the Entertainment business, due to the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020. I have been an entertainment technician and stage manager for 29 years. I have helped put together all kinds of events like concerts in stadiums and arenas, plays, shows and events in theatres or play houses.

All these jobs in entertainment require something that I now use in a day to day basis for painting and design interior projects. Lighting required I learned about electricity, which I will have a license for before the year ends. (2021) Rigging taught me how to hang just about anything from anywhere in the safest way possible or imaginable.

Audio taught me about the acoustics and proper mounting locations for speakers. I’ve had to build stages from the ground up so carpentry is a must to get a show up and running, and finally a fresh coat of paint is always needed to make things pop. Last and not least 8 years of Stage Management have allowed me to be able to lead large groups of people to accomplish projects in a timely mater. So here is the short version of where I’ve been. 4 years in concerts and theatre, 13 years on cruise ships, 12 years in theme parks. Now, Ready Set Paint! will be here for a long time to come.
